I’m Minxi Song, a motion designer, illustrator, and graphic designer. Let’s collaborate to create something that not only looks right but sounds right!

Being one of the few bassists in my elementary school, I had to learn fast from scratch. In response, I invented a systematic code of numbers and dashes to decipher the guarded sheet music. Little did I know, the insignificant, superscripted numbers and dashes among these ordinary moments transformed into a scoping narrative framing how I channel my creativity today: I see structure not as a limitation, but as the foundation. I look for ways to reconcile rigid frameworks with fluidity, adapting as I go. These innovative solutions aren’t always obvious—they hide in hindsight and in the counterintuitive clash between borderless creativity and orderly structures, waiting to be discovered.
