Ephemera is an advocacy project on coral reefs. A seemingly idyllic coral documentary that takes an unexpected turn as the crisis becomes too large to ignore. The corals are dying, and with them, so is our future.

The character designs were tailored to resonate with our target demographic—Gen Z and Millennials, ensuring they felt relatable and authentic. For the sequence itself, we employed a graphic approach that emphasizes the heightened emotions the character experiences, balancing these intense feelings with subtle comedic moments to maintain the light-hearted nature of the project.
